Havila Kystruten AS: Havila Polaris delayed to Norway

Havila Kystruten has today decided to cancel the first four planned round trips
with Havila Polaris, departing from Bergen on 29(th) of December 2022 and
9(th), 20(th) and 31(st) of January 2022 respectively.

On 9(th) of December, the company received the ruling from the hearing in the
"High Court of Justice" in London relating to rights and securities that
subsidiaries of the Russian leasing company GTLK have for the two ships Havila
Polaris and Havila Pollux.

Redemption of the debt to GTLK must take place to blocked accounts in accordance
with the sanctioning regulations.

It requires licenses from foreign authorities in the countries where the
accounts are and the countries where the refinancing comes from.

There is uncertainty related to the time it will take to be granted the licenses
and to adapt the loan documentation according to the requirements.

Havila Polaris has been completed at the Tersan shipyard in Turkey, and the is
now linked to the clearance of the settlement of debts.

Customers affected by the cancellations will be contacted, and the company
apologizes for the delay to all parties concerned.
