Höegh Autoliners ASA (HAUTO) - October 2022 Trading Update

In October 2022 Höegh Autoliners (the Company, ticker code “HAUTO”) transported
1.35 million cbm of cargo on prorated basis. Transported cargo the last three
months (Aug-Oct) was 4.00 million cbm.

Average prorated gross freight rate in October 2022 was USD 88.5 per cbm. (+9.7%
compared to average gross rate in Q3 2022). Average prorated gross freight rate
last three months was USD 85.7 per cbm.

Average prorated net freight rate in October 2022 was USD 71.4 per cbm. (+14.2%
compared to average net rate in Q3 2022). Average prorated net freight rate last
three months was USD 66.7 per cbm.

HH/BB share of prorated volumes carried in October 2022 was 29%. Last three
months the prorated HH/BB share was 31%.

Andreas Enger, CEO comments: “October was another strong month for Höegh
Autoliners. The market fundamentals continue to be characterized by high demand
and a tight capacity situation and the average net rate increased to USD 71.4
per cbm. The Company has a good balance between long term customer contracts and
liner cargo in well-defined trade systems”.
