Italy's Leonardo wins order for 15 helicopters from Avincis
ROME, June 15 (Reuters) - Italian defence and aerospace group Leonardo said on Monday it received from Avincis, Europe's largest provider of emergency air services, an order for 15 helicopters.
• No value for the contract was disclosed.
• The order is for ten AW169 light intermediate and 5 AW139 intermediate twin engine helicopters.
• They are due to be delivered during 2028-2031.
• Three of the AW139 helicopters will be deployed in Sweden.
• Helicopters have historically been one of Leonardo's strong points, accounting for about 25% of revenues in the FY 2025.
