TØNSBERG, Norway - 15 April 2025 -- Reference is made to the stock exchange
announcement by poLight ASA (https://www.polight.com/home/default.aspx)
("poLight" or the "Company", OSE: PLT) earlier today, regarding the strategic
investment agreement entered into with Q Technology (Group) Company Limited ("Q
Tech"), regulating, inter alia, the directed share issue of 63,743,112 towards Q
Tech (the "Private Placement"), and the potential subsequent offering of
19,122,933 new shares (the "Subsequent Offering") directed at shareholders in
the Company as of 15 April 2025 (as registered in the VPS on 22 April 2025) who
(i) were not allocated shares in the Private Placement and (ii) are not
domiciled in a jurisdiction where such offering would be unlawful, or, would, in
jurisdictions other than Norway, require any prospectus, filing, registration or
similar action (the "Eligible Shareholders").

Completion of the Subsequent Offering will be subject to (i) completion of the
Private Placement, (ii) the general meeting resolving to grant the board of
directors an authorisation to increase the Company's share capital in connection
with the Subsequent Offering, and (iii) the publication of a prospectus by the
Company approved by the Financial Supervisory Authority of Norway. The
subscription period for any Subsequent Offering, if any, is expected to commence
during June / July 2025. The Subsequent Offering is subject to the prevailing
market price of the Company's shares following the Private Placement.

Date of approval: On or about 21 May 2025 (date of the general meeting to be
