Sale of vessel

Rederiaktiebolaget Eckerö has signed a sales agreement with Rederi AB Gotland
regarding the sale of the vessel M/S Birka Stockholm, which is owned by
Rederiaktiebolaget Eckerö. The purchase price amounts to approx. 38 MEUR.

Delivery of the vessel to Rederi AB Gotland is expected to take place in April
2023.

The ship sale will cause a write-down amounting to approx. 12 MEUR in
Rederiaktiebolaget Eckerö's Annual Report for 2022, which will be published on
April 12, 2023. This write-down deviates from the Q4 quarterly report that was
published on February 28, 2023.

This release is considered to contain inside information related to the listed
securities of Rederiaktiebolaget Eckerö pursuant to the EU Market Abuse
Regulation (MAR) and is subject to the disclosure requirements pursuant to MAR
and Section 5-12 the Norwegian Securities Trading Act. The announcement is made
