Mini Options on German stocks
Euronext introduces Mini Single Stock Options on German underlyings following the successful launch of Mini French and Dutch Options, further expanding its derivatives product offering and bringing innovation to the market.
Euronext further expands the standard contracts available with the launch of Mini Stock Options on German underlyings.
Mini options on German stocks aim to unlock new trading flows for retail and institutional investors by offering alternative products that enable increased granular exposure and effective hedging on high-value German stocks.
What are Mini Options?
Mini options are single stock options with a reduced contract size of only 10 shares, as opposed to the 100 shares typical of standard options.
They are tailored for retail investors aiming to increase their exposure to higher-priced stocks on Euronext or to hedge current positions with a smaller financial outlay and decreased risk.
What are the Mini German Options available for trading on Euronext?
Listed on Euronext Amsterdam, Mini German Options co-exist alongside the already traded and well-established standard options.

Key benefits of trading Euronext Mini German Stock Options
Mini stock options offer greater flexibility for investors with a limited risk appetite. Their reduced size provides more control over exposure.
Lower outlay: mini options require just one-tenth the capital of standard contracts so investors can trade high-value stocks without needing large upfront investments.
Ideal for hedging odd lots: mini options are useful for investors with odd lots (fewer than 100 shares) of high-priced stocks. They are well-suited for hedging strategies, such as like buying protective puts or writing calls, by closely aligning the actual number of shares held.
A valuable tool for limited capital: mini options open access to premium stocks and do not require large financial commitments.
