Recupero Etico Sostenibile S.p.A. is specialized in waste management services. The group provides industrial recycling and disposal of urban waste, through sorting, collection, transport and treatment operations, up to their energy recovery and the production of eco-sustainable clothing. In addition, Recupero Etico Sostenibile S.p.A. is developing a renewable energy production. Net sales break down by activity as follows:
- management and disposal services for municipal and special non-hazardous waste (91.5%): mechanical-biological treatment (56.2% of net sales), disposal (23.4%), sorting and collection (20.2%) and composting (0.2%);
- sale of recyclable materials (8.3%): plastics, glass, paper, cartons and metals recovered from mechanical-biological treatment and waste sorting plants;
- sale of solar energy and biogas (0.2%).
