Activity description
Global Bioenergies specializes in the development under exclusive license of a biological hydrocarbon production process using renewable resources. The process is based on artificial metabolic activity involving enzymes that perform newly discovered reactions to create isobutene, a gaseous compound with four carbon atoms that spontaneously ignites during the reaction. Using proven technologies, isobutene can easily be converted into fuels such as gasoline, kerosene, or diesel fuel and into other materials such as elastomers or organic glass.
