Mandatory notification of trade

On October 24, the following transactions took place in Atea ASA (the Company):

1. Exercise of stock options

Employees of the Atea group have exercised stock options.

In total, 42,700 stock options were exercised under the original agreements.
Atea will transfer 42,700 of its own shares to fulfill the Company's obligations
under these employee stock option agreements.

2. Conversion of stock options and exercise of rights

Employees of the Atea group have entered into an agreement with Atea to convert
stock options into the right to receive shares in the Company of an equivalent
value.

In total, 243,040 stock options with a weighted average strike price of NOK
74.36 were converted into the right to receive 119,555 Atea shares, based on the
volume weighted average price of NOK 146.34 for the Atea share on October 23.

Employees of the Atea group exercised their rights to receive shares in the
Company.

After withholding of income taxes, employees received rights to 63,690 shares in
Atea ASA. Atea will transfer 63,690 of its own shares to fulfill the company's
obligations to provide these shares.

3. Conversion of stock options and exercise of rights by primary insiders

The following primary insiders entered into an agreement with Atea to convert
stock options into the right to receive shares in the Company of an equivalent
value and exercised their rights to receive shares.

Steinar Sønsteby converted 200,000 stock options at a strike price of NOK 74.25
into the right to receive 98,526 shares in the Company.  After withholding of
income taxes, he has obtained the right to receive 51,825 shares.

4. Transfer of rights and sale of shares

The primary insiders mentioned above transferred their rights to receive shares
resulting from the conversion of options to a third party. The payment has been
determined based on a selling price of NOK 145,38 per share.

5. New holding

Steinar Sønsteby holds 900,000 options and 125,126 shares, and 63 RSUs in the
Company.

Atea ASA holds 484,457 of its own shares.
