UK's John Lewis says Peter Ruis to step down as department stores boss
LONDON, Aug 10 (Reuters) - The John Lewis Partnership, Britain's biggest employee-owned retailer, said on Monday Peter Ruis, the boss of its department store chain, is to step down "to pursue new projects".
It said Ruis, who has been managing director of John Lewis department stores since 2024, will be replaced by Will Kernan, currently a non-executive board member of the partnership, as part of an orderly succession plan.
