Election of the chairperson of the board of directors

Oslo, 22 May 2026: Reference is made to the annual general meeting of NEXT
Biometrics Group ASA ("NEXT” or the "Company") held on 19 May 2026 (the "AGM
2026") where the annual general meeting elected board members for the 2026 to
2027 period.

On 21 May, the board of directors of the Company elected Tove Giske as its
chairperson. The board of directors of the Company comprises of the following
persons:
• Tove Giske (chairperson)
• Siri Gomnæs Børsum (board member)
• Peter Heuman (board member)

Jon H. Nordbrekken was elected as a member of the board of directors at the AGM
2026 with effect from the last day in the subscription period of the rights
issue raising gross proceeds of up to NOK 50 million.
