Lier, 13 May 2026: Kid Group, a leading home and interior retailer in the
Nordics, announces its financial results for the first quarter of 2026.
HIGHLIGHTS FOR THE QUARTER INCLUDE:
· Revenues for the Group increased by 9.1% to MNOK 800.5, driven by seasonal
assortments and strong Online revenue development
· Gross margin increased to 61.2%
· OPEX increased by 8.6%, impacted by new stores, project activity, earlier
distribution of spring and summer assortments and currency
· EBITDA increased by MNOK 17.3 to MNOK 132.7
"Kid Group delivered solid revenue growth in the first quarter, driven by strong
digital sales and good store performance in Norway. Category development was
strong, supported by seasonal execution and improved in-store presentation.
Warehouse operations in Sweden reached normalised capacity, with improved
efficiency throughout the quarter" says Marianne Fulford, CEO of Kid ASA.
