Horisont Energi AS – Appointment of new CEO

Sandnes, 01.10.2025 – Horisont Energi AS ("Horisont Energi", ticker: HRGI)
announces that the Board of Directors, constituted 01.10.2025, has appointed
Brita Holstad, as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer, effective
02.10.2025.

Ms. Holstad joined Horisont Energi in May 2024 and is currently the company’s
Chief Commercial Officer.
The appointment of Holstad marks an important step in setting a new direction
for Horisont Energi following the entry of NOS Group as the new majority owner.
Ms. Holstad brings extensive leadership experience and industry knowledge, and
the Board is confident she will play a key role in driving the company’s
strategy and development going forward.

At the same time, the Board wishes to thank outgoing CEO Leiv Kallestad for his
strong efforts and dedication during a period marked by demanding market
conditions and challenges for the green transition. Under his leadership, the
company has been through large change processes but secured a sustainable
financial foundation and strengthened its ability to deliver on its long-term
ambitions.

Kallestad will act as an advisor to the board and management until the end of
the year.

The Board looks forward to working closely with Ms. Holstad as Horisont Energi
enters a new phase of growth and development.
