Norconsult awarded contract with Consto/ University Hospital of North Norway

Sandvika, 23 May (OSE: NORCO): Norconsult and subsidiary Nordic Office of
Architecture, with Ratio arkitekter, have been selected as design group at the
New University Hospital of North Norway Åsgård (Nye UNN Åsgård) by Consto.

On 21 March the University Hospital of North Norway (UNN) awarded Consto the
contract to build Nye UNN Åsgård. Now Norconsult and Nordic Office of
Architecture, in collaboration with its partners, will deliver complete
engineering consultancy and architectural services to Consto and UNN,
encompassing all relevant disciplines for the project.

Nye UNN Åsgård is one of the most complex hospital projects in Norway today -
combining new construction, demolition, and rehabilitation in a facility that is
both protected as a whole and partially preserved.

Norconsult and Nordic Office of Architecture, in collaboration with Ratio
architects, have developed a proposal for an implementation plan that addresses
this complexity. The team constitutes a strong professional environment and has
a leading portfolio in psychiatry, including several projects within security
psychiatry.

Building on experiences from former psychiatry projects, the team will ensure
continuity in the work of maintaining function and functionality, described
through participation in the concept phase for Nye UNN Åsgård.

The project is divided into three construction phases, with the first phase
commencing in autumn 2025 and the final phase scheduled for completion in autumn
2030. The estimated value of the contract is NOK 80 million.
