Pexip and Google expand partnership to enhance the Google Meet room experience

Oslo, Norway, 10 April 2025: Pexip, a leading secure collaboration company,
expands its Google partnership with the unveiling of Pexip Connect for Google
Meet hardware. Announced by Google during the annual Google Cloud Next
conference, Pexip Connect for Google Meet hardware will enable Google Meet
devices to seamlessly join Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Webex meetings.

Until now, organizations could not join Teams meetings from Google Meet
hardware. With Pexip Connect for Google Meet, joining a third-party meeting will
be as simple as pressing a button. In addition, Pexip enhances the in-meeting
experience, with features like dual-screen support, HDMI presentation
capabilities, and lobby bypass.

Pexip has delivered interoperability for Google Meet since 2018, essential for
large organizations that use Meet, but have a variety of needs for external or
internal video devices to join meetings. Recently, Pexip has made all its
software services and solutions available on the Google Marketplace, making it
easy for customers to acquire and get started. This latest update is another
milestone in the two companies’ collaboration.
