11 October 2024 - Nekkar ASA's wholly-owned subsidiary Syncrolift AS has
received a notice of contract award from the Norwegian Defense Estate Agency
(Norwegian: Forsvarsbygg) for delivery of a shiplift to the Haakonsvern naval
base in Bergen, Norway.
The delivery includes a newbuild shiplift system and subsequent scheduled and
periodic service and maintenance services, customer support, and other service
and maintenance assignments. The combined contract value is NOK 205 million.
Syncrolift is the world's leading manufacturer of shiplifts and transfer systems
and has supplied such systems to a substantial number of naval shipyards
worldwide. This latest notice of contract award underlines Syncrolift's strong
position in the naval market.
The final contract award from the Norwegian Defense Estate Agency to Syncrolift
AS is subject to a mandatory ten-day quarantine period for submission of
potential complaints, and formal contract signing can take place after this
period at the earliest.
Further information about the project and Syncrolift's delivery will be shared
after the final contract has been signed.
Syncrolift is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Oslo stock exchange-listed Nekkar
ASA.
