SpareBank 1 SR-Bank adjusts interest rates on home mortgages and deposits

Due to continuing high inflation, Norges Bank raised the key policy rate to 4.25
percent on Thursday. The central bank also signaled that there may be another
increase in the key policy rate in December.

SpareBank 1 SR-Bank is today raising the interest rates on home mortgages and
deposits by up to 0.25 percentage points, in line with the change from Norges
Bank.

For first-time homebuyer mortgages, which are mortgages with a low interest rate
regardless of the age of the first-time buyers, the interest rate change will be
up to 0.20 percentage points.

The new terms will apply from 27 September 2023 for new loans and from 28
November 2023 for existing loans. All home mortgage customers will receive
information in their online banking or by mail about how the interest rate
change will affect them.
