Pareto Bank ASA – Disclosure of large shareholding

Reference is made to the flagging notification on 13 September regarding the
share lending agreement between Pareto AS and Pareto Securities AS under which
Pareto AS had granted Pareto Securities AS an option to borrow up to 6,930,693
shares in Pareto Bank ASA (the "Bank") to facilitate settlement of the new
shares in the Bank issued in connection with the private placement which was
successfully placed on 22 August 2023.

The new shares were registered in the Norwegian Register of Business Enterprises
yesterday 21 September 2023, and Pareto Securities AS has now returned the
6,930,693 shares to Pareto AS.

In connection with the return of the shares and Pareto AS receipt of the shares
allocated to it in the private placement, Pareto AS's share ownership has
increased from 7,039,653 shares (10.08% based on the pre-placement total of
69,851,730 outstanding shares) on 13 September 2023 to 15,356,484 (20% based on
the post-placement total of 76,782,423 outstanding shares) as of today.
