NRC Group ASA - Appointed to a light rail alliance contract in Finland

Tampere Tramway, the City of Tampere and the Municipality of Pirkkala have
selected NRC Group Finland, a company wholly owned by NRC Group ASA ("NRC"), and
YIT Finland as the construction parties in the new Tampere Pirkkala-Linnainmaa
Alliance, as well as the design firms AFRY Finland Oy and Sweco Finland Oy.

The development phase will start in October 2023 and is scheduled for completion
in October 2024. After the development phase, the project aims to enter the
construction phase. The goal is to have the plan approved for construction phase
by the councils of Tampere and Pirkkala during the autumn of 2024. The current
target cost estimate for the alliance contract is approximately EUR 335 million,
of which EUR 13.5 million is for the development phase.

tramway. This is the seventh rail transport-related alliance project for NRC,
including the Jokeri Light Rail project, which is the largest so far, and
Tampere tramway, where public traffic officially opened in August 2021. It is an
important win for NRC and shows our capabilities and strong position in large
rail alliance contracts in Finland. The next milestone is the approval from the
councils on the construction phase in 2024", says Ole Gulsvik, CFO and acting

The construction of the tramway would take place between 2025 and 2028. The
construction schedule will become more precise during the development phase of
the alliance.
