Deep Value Driller announces adjustment to the CEO's position

19 September 2023: Reference is made to the stock exchange announcement by Deep
Value Driller AS ("DVD" or the "Company" and together with its subsidiaries, the
"Group") on 8 September 2023 regarding the successful delivery of the Group's
7th generation mobile offshore drilling vessel "Deep Value Driller" (the
"Drillship") to Saipem (the "Charterer") under the bareboat charterparty entered
into earlier this year.

From the time of delivery of the Drillship to the Charterer, the daily
operational and maintenance responsibilities for the Drillship were passed to
the Charterer, and after the mobilization period the Drillship will commence
contractual drilling operations. From such point in time the workload for Svend
Anton Maier as CEO of the Company is expected to be less demanding and the board
of DVD has accepted that the CEO may take on certain assignments for a third
party drilling company with a corresponding reduction of his position with the
Company.
