Håvard Andersen appointed new CEO of Møller Bil
15 Sep 2023 12:00 CEST
Andersen succeeds Sverre Helno as chief responsible for the dealership business
Møller Bil. "His good business understanding and personal qualities were
decisive for the choice," says CEO Petter Hellman of Møller Mobility Group.
In August, Sverre Helno left his position as CEO of Møller Bil. His successor
will be Håvard Andersen, who is currently Executive Vice President of Møller
Mobility Services. Andersen has held this position for just over two years, and
before that came from the role as Executive Vice President for Strategy and
Business Development. Prior to joining Møller Mobility Group in 2016, Andersen
worked at McKinsey.
"Over the past seven years, Håvard has been heavily involved in the Group's
strategy and investment agenda, and has built up a solid department in Møller
Mobility Services that helps position the Group for the future through, among
other things, the development of Hyre, Bildusjen and Mitt Dekkhotell. I have had
the pleasure of working closely with Håvard in recent years. With his good
business understanding and personal qualities, he will complement the rest of
the management team at Møller Bil. I strongly believe that he is the right
person for the job and expect him to be well received by the organisation, says
CEO of Møller Mobility Group, Petter Hellman. - Looking forward to taking on the
task The automotive industry will go through major changes in the future, which
also affects Møller Bil. "The major restructuring in the automotive industry is
already underway, and we notice that we are in more challenging times. With
Håvard in place in the chair, I feel confident that we have a strong,
development-oriented leader who can drive the work forward in line with our
values, Hellman explains. - I have had many exciting tasks and positions over
the past seven years, and become well acquainted with the business. We will lead
the way in the industry and with the driving force that is in Møller Bil,
fantastic products and willingness to change in the team, I look forward to
taking on the task, says Håvard Andersen. Håvard Andersen will take over as the
new CEO of Møller Bil by 15 October.
